I was in Paris in mid December and snapped some pix of the holiday displays to show you. I guess I was into too much merry-making when I got back home, and didn’t get a moment to put them up before Dec. 25th. My bad!
Can I do it now? Yes! Has Xmas passed??? No! There are twelve days sweetie, and as of today, we’re only on day eleven. So enjoy the photos, maybe they’ll give you a little holiday spirit as you head into the first week of the new year…….
Every year, Galeries Lafayette department store suspends a huge….and I mean huge…..REAL tree from their magnificient stained glass cupola. It’s great to visit all levels of the store so that the tree can be viewed from top to bottom!
In a friends car one evening, we drove along Avenue Montagne, after having some wonderful and oh-so-pretty drinks at the gorgeous Plaza Athenee. Unfortunately, it was raining, so we didn’t get out of the car. I just rolled down the window and did my best to take this shot as we drove by as s-l-o-w-l-y as we could……
Hard to resist these displays in the children’s stores. Tres adorable n’est pas?
The florists like to create windows of red and black during the holidays. I guess they have so much green all year long they prefer to switch things around!
How fab are these shoes???
